“I’m in the middle of a divorce right now so my parents are like my rocks, making sure I have everything. My parents had me right after high school. They were very young. I always watched my dad work two or three jobs, and my mom always stayed home and took care of us until we were at school age and then she got a job in the school system. They would go to every baseball game and basketball game. I know a lot of the times my dad was dog-tired, but still went to that second job. And you never heard him complain about having to do it for his family. I just look at where they are today compared to where they were back then. I think that’s where I get my drive. We’d give the shirts off our backs if someone needed it, you know? That’s how we are. I’m a lot like my father. I see the good in everyone.”
